The trout species that SHOULD be there are Lake Trout *Side Note: currently, the Brookie is out of place in Michigan. That said, I don't know who else feels this way, but Brook Trout BELONG in Colorado and Oregon! Both of those lakes beg for em, and those type of environments serve the Brook Trout well. Oregon also does not need Smallmouth Bass, nor Colorado as they are viewed as predominantly Trout Lakes. Basically, the waterways in the game where Smallmouth make the most sense are Michigan and North Carolina.
The three most prominent species in the Great Lakes are the Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, and Yellow Perch. Michigan, however, the balance is just fine. They are not a prominent species there unlike Largemouth, so I really vote to remove them from San Joaquin.
My personal opinion is Smallmouth Bass should NOT be in California. StevieDingus really hits the nail on the head, and I agree. Killerwhale, we've discussed this a couple of times in regards to the Smallmouth.
